The Kursaal garden surrounds the old and new sections of the building in all four directions.
The terraces define the Kursaal entrance toward the east, open the building to the lake toward the south and serve as intermission space for the visitors of events. The northern façade was planted with moss using a special technique. Two separate water systems irrigate the north façade moss and from there the water basins.
