At a location between Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz, bordering Tiergarten and in the near future directly opposite the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe, two high-quality housing projects are to be realized on part of the former 'Ministergärten' property.
In response to the rhythm of the new urban houses, the front gardens and entrances were developed as independent spaces. They constitute the link between public and private. The design of the courtyard interprets the topic of the former ribbon parcelling of the 'Ministergärten', takes over the rhythmic structure of the entrance areas and links the existing panel-houses to the new buildings.
